Welcome and thank you for choosing Innersight for your mental health counseling services! We look forward to the opportunity to work with you! We understand the process of getting started with services can be very overwhelming. If at any time you have any questions please let us know. You can call or email whichever is more convenient for you.
Your first appointment is your intake appointment in which we go over your initial paperwork , identify the presenting consumers, establish goals and get background information. Please remember to bring your insurance card and photo id. After your initial intake session you will be scheduled based on the needs presented. Session times vary from 45-60 minutes. You or your child will have an individualized treatment plan of goals and objectives to target in therapy. These goals will be measurable and they may incorporate a few assessments for you to complete to determine levels of progress.
School or work excuses can be provided if needed. Please let us know if there is a need to collaborate with your child’s school if you feel your child’s mental health symptoms are impacting school performance, social skills, disruptive classroom, etc.
In the mental health field it can be very overwhelming with acronyms and diagnosis being thrown around and feels like you are listening to a different language. We understand this and can speak to both. We are happy to sit down with you and thoroughly explain our mental health providers, what they do and what all the acronyms mean. We are here in your best interest and will do everything we can to get the right level of services. With this said we might determine we might not be the best level of care and may recommend another service. If this does occur we will aid you the process and support you along the way.
We are located at the end of the hall on the second floor. There are two stairwells and an elevator in the building. There is a bathroom located outside our office in the hall and two more outside the elevator on both floors. There is a coffee bar and water available in the waiting room. The guest WIFI is posted in the waiting area. When you arrive please come in and have a seat. Your therapists will be out to get you at your scheduled time.
