Innersight Bridges Program
Students often encounter many barriers in connecting with mental health services whether it be transportation, long wait lists, out of network insurance, high copays or deductibles.
The Bridge Program is FULLY funded by the district with no out of pockets cost to the family and a direct line and connection to a therapist while in school. We are here in the best interest your child and will do everything we can to ensure the right level of treatment and care.
Greater Latrobe, Derry Area, Penn-Trafford, Kiski Area, and Southmoreland School Districts have partnered with Innersight LLC’s Bridges Program to provide school counseling services at no cost to identified students.
Through the Bridges Program, master’s-level therapists provide short-term individual counseling as well as small-group counseling within the school setting. Skill areas addressed may include friendship and social skills; managing anger, anxiety, sadness, or loss; building self-control; improving self-esteem; developing leadership skills; engaging in art-based therapeutic activities; and making responsible choices.
Students may be referred for counseling by parents/guardians or school staff, and students may also self-refer. School-based counseling services are short-term and are designed to support a student’s educational success and social-emotional functioning within the school community. These services are not intended to replace outpatient mental health treatment, do not duplicate services, and do not interfere with care provided by other outpatient providers.
